As Wolfe Vets is an independent business, we can focus all of our time on providing great care to our patients. All our decisions are made locally, not at distant head offices. You, our clients, have direct access to the people who make decisions on the running of the hospital and you can rest assured that our fees are dependent on our local costs, not on central budgets. We are not allied to any other veterinary service providers; all our advice is impartial. We employ locally, pay our taxes locally and spend locally. Our service is genuine value for money, and we will invest in our facilities and staff to continue to be the best vets available. We want to care for your pets better than you can get care for yourselves.

James is very passionate about his profession and is a very knowledgeable, caring and resourceful vet. James has always been there for us, in both health and illness, right up to the very last breath of our beloved dog Teddy, due to an aggressive tumour on Teddy's spine and eventual paralysis of his back legs, James held our hand and counselled us when the time came to say goodbye, we all shed some tears together that day, James treats his patients as his own pets and looked after our Teddy since he was an 8 week old puppy. We now have another young Staffordshire bull terrier called Bear, we are comforted to know that James is there for us and will be for many years to come, we are forever grateful to him and feel most fortunate to have such a caring professional human being as guardian for the health of our dog.

  • Our spaniel, Buster is a really important member of our family. He is almost 10 years old and James has been his vet for the majority of his life. Buster has not had the most straightforward medical history which has included two replacement cruciate ligaments, ongoing arthritis, surgery to remove grass seed from his paw and a life threatening gastric infection which saw him in animal hospital for 4 days. James has competently and reassuringly guided us through these procedures - we always felt we were in the safest of hands. Even when I have been concerned about something very minor, James has listened patiently and provided sensible, straightforward advice. Street parking is available on Marlborough, Burlington & Grange Roads and also Chiswick High Road (around Cotswold Outdoor).

Fulham: 297 Wandsworth Bridge Rd, London SW6 2NY

Parking: We have several parking spaces available for clients to use. These are located behind Wolfe Vets. The entrance to the car park is through the undercroft to the left of Dreams bed store. Please drive to the end of the car park and park on the left hand side. Designated spaces have signage. There are also visitors spaces available. If it is out of hours, and you have driven, please call 020 3011 1205 so we can open the gate for you.

Both clinics are wheelchair accessible.

    Policies

    Payment: Fees incurred during consultations or inpatient stays are due on completion of the visit. 50% payment required if in-patient hospital-type care is required at the first visit to us.

    Insurance: Wolfe Vets are happy to complete insurance forms to help pet owners recoup the cost of treatment from their insurers. Payment can be accepted direct from an insurer only when the insurer gives the necessary written pre-approval for a specific set of tests or treatment, this can process can take an insurer up to 7-14 days. We charge a nominal fee for administrative tasks such as insurance form processing: these fees are waived for members of the Wolfe Pack.

    Prescriptions: Wolfe Vets maintains an extensive pharmacy for our patients. Written prescriptions for dispensing at alternate pharmacies are available on request, a fee is due for the service.

    Customer feedback: As an independent practice our team is smaller than the corporates, therefore clients have direct access to our lead vets and client services manager.
